After winning their previous sections games against Minneapolis Southwest and Minneapolis South, the Boys’ varsity team will move forward in section play to take on the finals game.

If the team wins the game, they will advance to the state tournament.

Sophomore player Daniel Decker said he is expecting to play a good game.

“There’s going to be a lot of emotion whether we win or lose,” Decker said. “All of us are going to leave our best on the field and I know if we do that any day no one can stop us.”

Junior captain Eric Hendricks said he thinks the team has a good chance of winning the game.

“They are a good team, so we just have to come out strong from the beginning,” Hendricks said.

The game will be against Wayzata at 5:00 p.m. Oct. 14, at Wayzata High School.
