Loss turns into future love

Ben Higgins’ search for love concludes, JoJo Fletcher’s search begins

The Bachelor, a reality show following different men in their quests for love, ended its 20th season. Ben Higgins, this season’s man from Denver, Colorado, was forced to choose between 28 different women — how tragic.

The final two women competing for Ben’s love were the classy flight attendant, Lauren Bushnell and the sweet real estate developer, JoJo Fletcher.

In a season full of unexpected twists and turns, it seemed clear who the final rose would be given to. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

Ben opened up to America to reveal his thoughts about both women. He believed his relationship with Lauren was too good to be true because they had never experienced any adversity. JoJo was the fan and family favorite so it seemed crystal clear that the woman he chose would be JoJo.

Do you think Ben made the right decision?

JoJo Fletcher wowed the audience and watching her be rejected was like watching a claw snatch a single puppy out of a litter and throw it. This was the final straw and it will be surprising if America can still believe in love after Ben’s shocking decision.

This season, Ben professed his love to not only one woman, but two, which has never happened on the Bachelor. Even though the politics of the show are questionable, any viewer will find themselves rooting for America’s sweetheart, JoJo.

Luckily for us, her journey has just begun: JoJo is this year’s Bachelorette. Hopefully, she can make viewers believe in one true love again, not two.

JoJo deserves a man that loves her and only her. America is blessed to be able to see JoJo in multiple outfits, kissing multiple men, and sharing her beauty with us 7 p.m. every Monday.

Although Ben and JoJo’s relationship was magical, JoJo is too good for Ben, so it’s fitting that he ended up with Lauren. Whoever JoJo ends up with is one lucky man.

This season’s The Bachelorette premieres May 23.
