Who was most influential in your high school athletics?

I have two. Charlie McChesney because he really picked our hockey team up my junior year and dealt with a lot of adversity. That really showed me that no matter what you are working with, if you have the heart you can win games. Also, even though she was never my coach, Jessica Gust trained me in the weight room and really helped my mental game become stronger. She is someone I really look up to.

What does it mean to you to be nominated for this award?

It means a lot to me because I have played sports all my life and I am very competitive and to be recognized for my hard work and leadership means a lot.
