Echo receives national honors

The Echo staff recently was recognized with multiple prestigious awards. The Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA) awarded The Echo with a Hybrid Gold Crown in 2016, and the National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA) recognized The Echo as a 2016 National Newspaper Pacemaker Finalist for the fourth year in a row. The Echo received the NSPA Newspaper Pacemaker Finalist in 2010 and 2011 as well. Echo staffers also make biyearly trips to the NSPA conventions across the country.
