Junior captain Nate Stone competes in the 200 yard individual medley during the boys’ meet against Hopkins on Tuesday, Dec. 15. Stone won the event with a time of 2:06.18, out-touching Hopkins swimmer Avery Martens-Goldman.

Boys’ swimming

Boys’ swimming won its first conference meet Jan. 7 against Bloomington Jefferson. The team has also won dual meets against Hopkins and Elk River along with participating in the Maroon and Gold Invite at the University of Minnesota and placing second to Chaska-Chanhassen in a conference relay meet. The team’s captains are senior Ryan Casey and junior Nate Stone. The next meet takes place at 6 p.m. Jan 14 at Plymouth Middle School against Robbinsdale Cooper.
