President Megan Aune

Junior Student Council president Megan Aune said she is excited to spend her senior year as the president of Student Council.

“I’ve wanted to be the president since my freshman year so it’s just my dream come true,” Aune said.

According to Aune, her main goals as president aim toward increasing student involvement in school activities.

“My vision for Student Council and for the school as a whole is to have us be more involved in ourselves and go to games and events and feel a sense of pride about our school and our community,” Aune said.

Lindenberg said she believes Aune has the dedication required to be president of Student Council.

“She is very committed to the school and has a lot of school spirit herself and desires for people to feel connected and I think that will go really far with her in Student Council,” Lindenberg said.

Aune said she believes Park is ready for change in the Student Council and looks forward to leading the movement.

“I think there is a lot I can do at this school around school pride and having people come to games and really just making a change,” Aune said. “I think the school is ready for (change)  and it will be an exciting year we have ahead of us.”
