Librarian introduces the book club to incoming freshman.

Book Club

Students with a passion for reading and discussing books are encouraged to join the LMC book club said adviser Ellen George.

“I love to read. I work in a library and I love reading, I meet so many people who love to read, so many students, so I started a book club,” said George.

The book club meets 6 to 7 times during the school year and students are encouraged to attend meetings when it is convenient for them according to George.

“A student can jump in and out at any time. Whenever it’s convenient for them and they like the book,” said George.

The book club’s first meeting is in the LMC classroom on Tuesday, October 11 from

8:00 – 8:30 am. To get involved, stop by the LMC and sign up for the emails and Remind 101 to get notified about book club. Signing up doesn’t commit you to attending meetings.
