A club dedicated to fixing computers, laptops and updating software, Park Tech invites students to come join.

To join Park Tech in B117 students are required to take A Plus Computer Tech course, which is a class helping students learn to fix and build computers, according to the adviser of the club, Jacob Utities.

“If you want to get involved you have to take my class A Plus Computer Tech, it’s a year long class where you learn to do all the stuff for building and fixing computer,” he said. “Once you have taken that class you can come talk to us and join.”

Depending on the size of the project, Park Tech charges different amounts from students and teachers, Jared Buenafe, a member of Park Tech, said.

“We usually set the cost around $20 if it is a really big project that we need to fix and takes long,” he said.

Working together during the year, students who are new to join Park Tech, if needed, can fall under a more experienced students.

“People who are new to the club probably take apprenticeship under someone who is more experienced, unless you’re experienced yourself already,” Buenafe said.

Future plans for the club include preparing for conference, which involves a gaming night Utities said.
