Yearbooks are known for providing students with memories to look back at years later. Students now have the opportunity to join Echowan, Park’s yearbook, and give students that same nostalgia.

Echowan is currently taking applications for next year’s yearbook staff. Positions on staff include writers, photographers, and designers. Staff adviser Julianne Herbert said applications are open to all except current seniors.

Herbert also said Echowan provides great experiences to all students on staff.

“I think we really are a family at the end of the day and it provides an opportunity to learn more about the school and meet new people,” Herbert said.

Along with Herbert, junior staffer Paige Pinneke also said she believes the Echowan staff provides a great atmosphere and dynamic for staffers.

“The best part of Echowan is the closeness you get to feel with your yearbook team,” Pinneke said. “We really feel like a family.”

Applications include two teacher recommendations, one interest form and a letter describing three reasons you want to be on staff. These are due by March 6.
