When did you join, and why?

I joined last year. I joined because it sounded like a fun group to be a part of.

This year, I’m excited for us to hopefully be able to go to two regionals.

What were your expectations joining, and were they met?

I was expecting definitely for it to be something challenging, and it did meet those expectations during our six-week build season that we get every year to build a robot completely from scratch.

What is your favorite part?

Truly, I really don’t know because last year I was all over the place between design things and actually putting things together.

What are you excited for this year?

This year, I’m excited for us to hopefully be able to go to two regionals. I hope that we can get enough money from sponsors.

What is your specific job on the team?

This year, I’m learning CAD (Computer Aided Design) to be an interim CAD captain along with our CAD advisor this year.

Are you hoping to be a captain eventually?

It’s pretty much somewhat guaranteed because our captains this year are leaving and we very few experienced juniors on the team.
