Interim principal announced for Park

Wendy Loberg to serve for 2020-2021 school year

In a statement May 19, Superintendent Astein Osei announced Wendy Loberg as the interim Principal for the 2020-2021 school year. Loberg is set to being in the position in July.

In a statement posted by St. Louis Park Public Schools, Superintendent Astein Osei announced Wendy Loberg will fill the vacancy left by Principal Scott Meyers beginning in July. 

“In her past leadership experiences, Wendy has demonstrated the ability to implement effective strategies, to elevate student voice and engage stakeholders,” Osei said in the statement. “She is extremely excited to join the St. Louis Park High School community and support our work to provide a safe and nurturing environment that energizes and enhances the spirit.”

Loberg is currently serving as an on-call national trainer for BARR and has provided professional development for Park in recent years. In past years, Loberg has served as the principal of Maple Grove Senior High School, an administrator in the Anoka-Hennepin Schools and as a system leader in Osseo Area Schools.
