Team finds success in individual Sections

Senior Lorentz moves on to state

According to tennis head coach David Breitenbucher, players from the girls’ tennis team participated in individual Sections hosted at the Lakeville Lifetime.

Those team members included freshman Raquel Fhima, sophomore Violet Huber, junior Hanna Schechter and seniors Sammie Kreie, Jane Anderson and Natalie Lorentz.

Breitenbucher said Huber, Kreie and Anderson lost in the first round and Fhima and Schechter lost in the third round. Lorentz placed second overall and will play in the State tournament Oct. 27 at the University of Minnesota Baseline Tennis Center.
