How long have you been playing basketball?

I’ve been playing since third grade.

What is your favorite basketball memory?

I’m not from SLP, so my favorite memory was when I (was a) freshman at my previous school [Burnsville High School]. I scored 20 points.

How do you prepare for a game?

I listen to the same playlist every game. I listen to the same three songs and then take my AirPods out.

How has this season been going?

It started off a little rough, but it definitely kicked back and started up. I’m pretty happy with how it’s been going so far.

What are you looking to improve on as a team?

I’m looking forward to just us, as a team, understanding we are creating some sense of identity because we are so young. A lot of us are going to be back next year for our final year. It’ll be good to be able to (stay) as a team because last year, we had a bunch of new transfers. And this year, we have a new transfer too.

What are you looking to improve personally?

I would like to be more consistent because I fluctuate between high-point games and low-point games. To be more consistent all around would really improve my playing.

What are you going to do to prepare for your senior year on the team?

I pretty much play basketball year-round. I’ll play a lot of spring and summer ball, and train on my own time with my coaches.

Are you looking to play basketball in college?

My overall goal is to go D1 or D2. I’m totally okay with going anywhere else too. But the goal is to get an offer and continue playing. My dream school is Baylor.
