When the weather finally cools down, the winter sports heat up at Park. Senior gymnastics captain Sophia Earle said she is really excited for the season to start.

“I am excited to meet the new gymnasts and get to know the team,” Earle said. “I can’t wait to make memories with the team during my last year of high school gymnastics.”

The first sport to start is Girls Hockey, starting Oct. 31. Followed by Nordic Skiing, Girls Gymnastics, Boys Hockey, Alpine Skiing, Boys Basketball, and Boys Swimming.

Junior swim captain Henry Salita said he encourages athletes to participate in preseason activities like captains practices.

“Captains practices are great to go to because they give you an opportunity to meet and bond with your teammates for the upcoming year,” Salita said. For more information about registering and participating in winter sports at Park, visit gopark.org
