Senior Macy Martinson protects the ball from the ground at practice Oct 7. The first varsity volleyball game of the season is at 9 a.m. Oct. 10 at the Benilde-St. Margaret’s Activity Center against Benilde-St. Margaret.

In a board meeting held Oct. 10, the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) voted to allow Football and Volleyball to begin in the fall. Due to COVID-19, the rules for spectators have changed for both sports. Football games will have a maximum capacity of 250 people, and half of the tickets will go to each school. Park will be giving out tickets first to the families of team members and then will conduct a lottery for students using the remaining tickets, according to Park Athletics on Twitter. No spectators will not be allowed at volleyball games as it is an inside sport, according to John Millea from the MSHSL.
