HQ, reaching a personal all time high with 1.2 million people, has created a fast and relatively easy way to win money. HQ is a trivia game with a cash prize reward that is split up between the people that answer all 12 questions correctly. On weekdays the cash prize can vary from $1500-2000, but on Sunday’s it’s possible to win up to $10,000. HQ host Scott Rogowsky begins the game by giving background information into what HQ is, then reads the questions out loud while providing humorous banter.

This trivia game has taken over our generation and is probably here to stay, for good reason too. HQ has created new ways for people to win money. With little downsides, this game will most likely continue to prosper and grow in numbers. However, there is one aspect that is slightly suspicious — the money. How do they get it?

The money seems to be a growing problem as players are only allowed to collect their prize money if they win more than $20. Otherwise they have to keep winning until they win $20 or more. This rule is written in the FAQ and the terms and conditions, however is not exactly advertised for players to see. There were even times where players who won twice, still didn’t have enough to cash out.

Another issue is the times when HQ happens. One of the times on weekdays is 2pm CST, which is when most kids are still in school. On school grounds this game could be problematic: with kids going on their phones and not paying attention to the teacher at which point the teachers can just take the students phones. While students don’t appreciate that much, they are still able to play at 7pm CST.
