With “John Wick: Chapter 4” wrapping up the John Wick tetralogy, fans are bummed out to see it finally come to an end. Directed by Chad Stahelski, “John Wick: Chapter 4” follows one of the most notorious characters in movie history, John Wick (Keanu Reeves). John Wick is a highly trained, cold blooded assassin and with the release of “John Wick: Chapter 4” on March 24, fans were thrilled to see him take one last action-packed ride.

The John Wick Tetralogy revolves around John Wick, who was part of a secret underground society of criminals from around the world, which is run by 12 leaders from different countries called, ‘The High Table.’ The High Table has many strict rules, and if you break any of them you are known as an outcast. When you become an outcast, other people are sent to execute you. At the very end of “John Wick: Chapter 2,” Wick breaks one of the rules by committing murder on continental grounds, which is basically a safe zone and is viewed as highly intolerable. Instantly after that, The High Table declared him ‘Excommunicado’ which made him no longer part of their society. They also set bounties on him so other assassins can execute him and make money. John Wick, being the most dangerous man alive, would not go down easily.

Throughout the third movie, Wick is chased around the globe by assassins while he’s trying to restore his status of the high table and be protected by the law. But this journey was not easy, as he fails to do so in the third movie and this leads directly into “John Wick: Chapter 4.”

“John Wick: Chapter 4” focuses on Wick who’s still on the run but wants to still try to get back into The High Table. This is where all the action and fighting begins. Wick goes on a killing spree to achieve his goal. He goes to many different locations around the globe and is met by many villains who try to stop him.

One of my favorite parts of “John Wick: Chapter 4” is the non-stop action. There were so many action scenes of huge fights with hundreds of people involved. They do a great job of choreographing the fighting and putting on a realistic show. There is never a moment throughout the movie where I was not intrigued.

Another thing I really liked about the movie was the locations they film in. They went all over the place for “John Wick: Chapter 4.” They filmed in places such as New York City, Japan, Berlin and Paris. It was fun seeing him travel around the globe and getting to see all the different environments and cultures portrayed in the movie.

I also really liked the way they filmed and the cinematography. They got really creative and filmed from many different angles that really made the fight scenes a lot better. There were also some really beautiful shots throughout the movie, especially in Japan and Germany.

Even though I loved “John Wick: Chapter 4,” there was one negative that I noticed. There were many unrealistic aspects of the fights that just don’t make sense. People could be thrown off 50 foot ledges and still survive, get shot three times and survive or get hit by a speeding car and survive. It just made it seem a little too wild. This seemed to be a trend throughout the movies that only got worse throughout each one.

Overall, I thought that “John Wick: Chapter 4” was amazing. All aspects of the movie were great. It had great long action packed scenes, beautiful cinematography, good acting and a great ending. It was a good movie and a great way to end the John Wick tetralogy. I hope in the future there will be some sort of continuation of the John Wick story.
