Throughout 2023 and 2024 we’ve gotten new restaurants and traditional ones bringing you all types of flavors and dishes within our city. From Hispanic food to American and Asian, these restaurants are ensured to be enjoyable. Since Park is expanding in restaurants and diners, I’m going to show you the four best restaurants within our city.

#1 Mexico City Cafe (6416 W Lake St, St Louis Park MN):

The Hispanic restaurant “Mexico City Cafe” is owned by Julio Margalli. “Mexico City Cafe” is a fine and dined restaurant with a menu to make your mouth water. “Mexico City Cafe” Opened in the summer of 2019 during the pandemic. Upon entering the restaurant one can see the reason for its name, which is to make you feel like you’re in Mexico City. This Menu offers many types of food such as Tacos, Burritos, Bowls, Chips, Guac, and more. “Mexico City Cafe” is indeed a local family-owned and operated authentic cafe.I would recommend quesa Birria tacos or quesadillas. “Mexico City Cafe” is open from 9am-8pm Monday through saturday,and closed sunday.

#2 The Block (7007 walker St, St Louis Park MN):

This Modern Restaurant “The Block” is owned by Luke Derhiem. ”The Block” is a perfect place to grab some modern and vegan food. “The Block” opened up in 2019. Entering “The Block” you notice that it’s really simple and modern with a bar. “The Block” also has one more exciting feature which is that they are dog friendly, which allows your dogs to sit on the patio while you eat your food. The staff even provide your dog with a mat to lay on and a water bowl to sip on. This Menu serves a variety of different foods such as Poke Bowls, Fried Chicken, Burgers, Burritos, and Prime rib. From “The Block” I would recommend their broasted chicken sandwich with fries or their brisket grilled cheese.“The Block” is open from 10am-10pm on weekdays,and 9am-10pm during weekdays,with happy hour being from 2-6pm.

#3 La Bodega Taco Bar( 8005 Minnetonka Blvd, St. Louis Park MN):

This Hispanic restaurant “La Bodega Taco Bar” is owned by Alex Rosario. “La Bodega Taco Bar” is a great place to grab some good tacos and fries. “La Bodega Taco Bar opened up and was completed in spring 2023. Walking into “La Bodega” you notice the art on the walls, which gives the restaurant a modernized hispanic look. “La Bodega ” serves many things such as the famous birria ramen which consists of birria meat, ramen, cilantro and onion which makes a very delicious treat. This menu also serves Crazy fries, Burritos, Quesadillas and of course tacos. “La Bodega ” is open from 11am-8pm Monday-Sunday,They are indeed open everyday of the week.

#4 Ariana Kabob and Gryo Bistro (7115 Cedar Lk Rd S, St. Louis Park Mn):

This Middle Eastern Restaurant “Ariana Kabob and Gyro Bistro” is owned by Yamah Sadozai. “Ariana Kabob and Gyro Bistro” is a perfect place to grab some good middle eastern food. “Ariana Kabob and Gyro Bistro” was opened on May 22nd 2013 and has been up and running for a while. Entering “Ariana Kabob and Gyro Bistro” you notice the nice yellow walls, and get greeted by the nice owners. “Ariana Kabob and Gyro Bistro have a big delicious tasting menu with gyros, fries, shawarma, wraps, chicken wings, and more. “Ariana Kabob and Gyro Bistro” serves authentic Greek and Turkish street food. “Ariana Kabob and Gyro bistro” I would recommend their steak shawarma sandwich,and spicy gyro apollo.  “Ariana Kabob and Gyro Bistro” is open from 11am-8pm Monday-Saturday, Sunday closed.
