As the school year comes to an end, Echowan gives students something to hold onto: their yearbook.

Editor in chief Anline Lezama, a senior, said distribution is May 27 during fifth hour for those who purchased their yearbook earlier in the year. Lezama said students will go down to the lunchroom during their assigned lunch to pick up their yearbooks with their receipt and student ID.

Junior staffer Mackenzie Evenson said she is excited to see everyone’s reactions when they see the yearbook for the first time.

“I think it’s great getting the finished product out to the school,” Evenson said. “I’m just excited to show the school what we’ve been working so hard on.”

Freshman Lathan Wolf said he bought the yearbook because his mom wanted him to have the memories from high school, but is still looking forward to getting his book.

“I’m looking forward to reading what everyone has to say about me after everyone signs yearbooks,” Wolf said.

Lezama said she is excited to handing out the yearbooks so students can see the hard work her and the Echowan staff have put in.

“We spent all year long working on it and we’re very proud of it,” Lezama said. “And for seniors it’s just a really special thing.”

According to Lezama, students who miss distribution May 27 can pick up their book May 28 during fifth hour in the Echowan room. Students who did not order their yearbook can purchase one May 29 with $75 cash in the Echowan room, B229.
