What to know about the vice-presidential debate

Stay tuned as vice-presidential candidates Tim Kaine and Mike Pence continue the series of debates during the 2016 presidential election. Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump began the debates Sept. 26, and their second debate is scheduled for Oct. 9 at Washington University in St. Louis. Kaine and Pence will begin their only debate Oct. 4 at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia. Elaine Quijano, CBSN anchor and CBS News correspondent will moderate. The debate will consist of nine 10-minute segments, and Kaine and Pence will be allowed two minutes to reply to each opening question.
