Virtual celebration to be held June 2, in-person Graduation to be held June 23

After receiving feedback from seniors and community members through an online survey and Google Meet, Park announced May 1 in 6425 News that Graduation has been postponed to 7:30 p.m. June 23 at the St. Louis Park High School Stadium. Graduation was originally scheduled for June 2.

“This year’s graduation will look different for both graduates and the audience as we modify the ceremony to comply with social distancing requirements. However, we will do our very best to stay true to the St. Louis Park High School graduation traditions,” according to the 6425 News.

A virtual celebration for seniors will be held June 2 on YouTube. 

“Students will be highlighted and receive their honors and family members can watch from the comfort of home at their convenience,” according to 6425 News.

According to 6425 News, Park will be providing options for those unable to attend the ceremony. 

Seniors will receive their Graduation stoles and Graduation caps and gowns through personal delivery from Ms. Busse, Mr. Goggleye and Mr. Meyers May 26 through May May 29, according to 6425 News.
