Brittani Schroeder recently started as an administrative assistant in the athletic department at Park.

According to Schroeder, she mostly works in the registration aspect of the department.

“Right now I’m just working on sports registration,” Schroeder said. “That’s all they’ve really showed me so far.”

Schroeder said she comes from a background involving athletics.

“I grew up in a family where my dad was an athletic director so I knew the environment and what I was getting myself into,” Schroeder said. “I love sports and I’ve always done office work so I thought it would be a good fit.”

According to Schroeder, it was her sister who informed her about the job.

“My older sister used to coach here and she told me about the job,” Schroeder said. “She told me Andy and Shawn were great and that you always want to work with good people.”

Schroeder said her goal is to help out the athletic department in any way she can.

“I’m just hoping to help Andy and Shawn with what they need and make the year go as smoothly as possible. I also want to connect with students,” Schroeder said.
