Boys’ hockey beats Benilde in first Sections game
Park wins 5-3, will face Edina Saturday

After losing 4-1 to Benilde in the team’s last regular season game Feb. 16, the boys’ hockey team picked up a big win when it counted most, beating Benilde 5-3 Feb. 23.
Senior captain Bauer Neudecker, fresh off a nomination for Minnesota Mr. Hockey, scored his 40th goal of the season to tie the game 3-3 early in the third period.
Park, the #5 seed in Section 6AA, beat #4 Benilde. They will face #1 seed Edina, who beat Park 5-2 when the teams played Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Bloomington Ice Garden.
