Four Park swimmers competed in the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Swimming and Diving state championships March 3 and 4 at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center. The results from the competition’s finals are below:

Senior captain Nate Stone swims the 200-yard freestyle going a 1:45.63. Stone placed 17th overall.

200-yard medley relay:

• Senior Nils Rykken, senior Nate Stone, junior David Salamzadeh and eighth grader Hayden Zheng placed eighth in 1:38.04

200-yard individual medley:

• Zheng placed tenth in 1:53.74, earning a Park team record

50-yard freestyle:

• Rykken placed 14th in 22.04

100-yard butterfly:

• Stone placed ninth in 51.17

100-yard breaststroke:

• Zheng placed fourth in 57.88, earning a team record
