Sexual Health Education Club
Students who enter room B112 enter a safe space to discuss sexual health.
According to Sexual Health Education Club (SHEC) adviser Allison Luskey, students have the opportunity to discuss sexual health and watch relevant videos, play games and eat snacks.
“(SHEC) provides a safe and non-judgemental place for students to engage in conversations involving sexual health topics,” Luskey said.
The goal of SHEC is to increase student confidence in sexual health topics Luskey said.
“(SHEC offers to) increase student knowledge of sexual health topics especially consent, contraception and STI protection, sexually transmitted diseases, healthy dating relationships and communication,” Luskey said.
Club meetings are held every other Thursday from 8:00-8:35 in B112.
To get involved attend a meeting or talk to Philip Djerf or Izzi Gilbert-Burke.
