Science Olympiad
For Senior Maddie Cook her favorite part of Science Olympiad is being able to learn new scientific topics without restrictions.
“(It’s fun) being able to learn and enjoy new things. And explore a side of new side of science without being pressured to get a grade,” Cook said.
According to club adviser Jenny Magdal, Science Olympiad members work in teams to complete science experiments.
“(A) team of 12-15 students that will go to a competition each with one or two projects that they’ve done. They will present these and if they perform well they will go on to state.”
According to Magdal the club meets Thursdays after school.
