What is the first thing you think of when you hear school equity?
“Fairness. Both academically and in classes and in social life also.”
What things do you do to help expand equity within our school?
“I would say try to make everything fair and encourage other people to try new things because we need more balance in our school. There are some organizations that include others and some that include some but not others. So if the school would try and reinforce more races and different types of people then it would be more inclusive.”
Are there any ways you believe school equity can be achieved?
“Be more open to people. Understanding really helps, like just try not to judge other people based on what you think.”
