Meet some of the Junior members of the Higher Achievement Program (HAP).
Osman Sheikh
Why did you first join HAP? “I heard about it through my friends and it’s a great program that helps you maintain a good grade in high school and it helps prepare you for college.” What’s your favorite part of HAP? “It’s comfortable and it’s chill and relaxed and you’re able to talk about stuff you normally wouldn’t.”
Zakaria Osman
Why did you first join HAP? “I joined because it’s extra help and it’s a great program.” What’s your favorite part of HAP? “If I’m turning in a paper, he will revise it for me. (Mr. Redmond) is very helpful and he helps us apply for colleges.”

Why did you first join HAP? “I joined HAP for support because there is always someone pushing you to do your best in school and also the opportunities it has to offer for the students who are in HAP.” What’s your favorite part of HAP? “My favorite part is knowing that the other students who are in HAP are in there for similar reasons as you. Why did you first join HAP? “I joined it because HAP expresses all cultures and Mr. Redmond assists us academically. He helps us with anything and is always helpful.” What’s your favorite part of HAP? “I like the field trips. Going to colleges and the college fairs.”
