The first day, always characterized by a fun-filled, festival-like schedule, will include special guests, specialty foods and many activities throughout the day. In addition to the festivities, incoming students will go through an abbreviated run-through of their school schedules and have lunch provided to them around noon by outside catering. The day will last normal school hours starting at 8:20 a.m. and ending at 3:10 p.m., Sept. 4, at the high school.
