Park pays no attention and seems uninterested in promoting their sports teams. Various sports teams succeed in what they’re doing, but Park lacks the basic promotional needs all the sports teams need. If Park decides to focus more on the sports teams, then it could improve or make the community more enjoyable. There are multiple opportunities to improve our sports teams’ recognition.
It seems Park has never promoted themselves as they should. Instead, different sports teams have had to promote themself. Park’s teams go door-to-door to sell coupons or promotional items from different stores around parks and invite the community to come out and participate in various sporting events. The community shows great participation when the teams promote themselves, but the only promotion I’ve been aware of is the various players who talk about their upcoming game and want to see some turnout at their game. Park doesn’t mention or speak openly about their teams which makes them irrelevant unless you are well-known with the team. Many of the attendees from these sports games are either parents or students who know very little about the game, and it would be nice for the community to come together even and support our sports teams.
This could be beneficial to see some promotional items around the Park like signs promoting various sports teams. Selling them to homes would be a great way to make the community aware of upcoming games or Park win streak within a sport. Additionally, having a morning announcement talking about Park’s upcoming games so students and staff are made aware would be great for games. Another thing is hearing a morning announcement about a victory of one of Park’s sports teams might give students more motivation to show up to these games, making it more invigorating when they decide to show up. It would also be cool to see Park working with local businesses to promote and benefit the team as a bigger turnout could boost the morale of teams. This would also benefit the community and benefit Park.
Park must be supporting their sports. It helps these sports players with their confidence when playing, giving them that extra boost to push themselves and have people cheer for them. Having a bigger following for your team helps boost morale and keep your heads up when you may be down in your game. Having a healthy team and having a bigger following is better than having nothing. This strengthens the community by inviting people out to enjoy a game. It would be easier for Park to promote teams that have a bigger following this way it’s a much easier job. Having a sport that can rally people together can promote a lot better and faster.
Park just needs to show some more initiative for their teams. Doing so will strengthen the community and bring up morale on teams, having more well known teams in the end.
