When did you start playing golf?

(I started playing) the winter of eighth grade.

Why did you decide to play ?

My uncle really liked (golf) and he wanted someone to play with so I decided to pick it up.

How many years have you been a golf captain?

(This is) my first year.

What are you looking forward to this season?

I’m looking forward to all the new people that are on the team and bonding with them, and also just improving my game.

What are you looking forward to about being a captain?

To be a leader for the younger girls and to help them with their swing.

Who do you most look up to in golf?

I look up to both my coaches because they are both really funny and keep things positive and you don’t feel a lot of pressure from them which is helpful.

What are some challenges you anticipate for the season?

We lost a lot of girls last year, they graduated or just didn’t come back. That is kind of challenging because our team is smaller, but I think it will work out. We will find some new girls to play on varsity.

What is your proudest golf accomplishment?

Probably either becoming a captain or (receiving) honorable mention last year.
