Junior Zoe Younger reads aloud a spoke word poem that she wrote during the Black History Month presentation. Younger said that sharing experiences is a important part of understanding each other. (Understanding) is just a really big part of American culture right now, Younger said, Throughout all of our history we have had problems dealing with race and I think that everyone, no matter your racial background it is relevant to you.

Senior John Meyer competes with Blake player Junior Will Svenddal to grab the puck. Parks game against Blake took place at 7 p.m. in the ROC Dec. 21. Blake defeated Park with a final score of 0-6. The game was parks first time playing in the ROC of the season. Park plays Eastview Dec. 27 at Apple Valley Sports Arena.
