Juniors Jacob Zweigbaum and Joey Litton along with sophomore Martin Scalici practice for their bands performance during the Sno Daze pep fest on 2/16. Two student bands will perform at the pep fest including The Outlanders and Dopeamine.

According to Student Council adviser Sarah Lindenberg, students can look forward to participating in all the usual activities during this year’s Sno Daze week.

Lindenberg said the week will follow the same schedule as past Sno Daze weeks.

“Thursday (Feb.) 16 is the pep fest, the following Tuesday is 3 on 3 basketball, Wednesday is dodgeball, Thursday is battle of the bands,” Lindenberg said. “Volleyball is on Friday and the dance is on Saturday.”

Lindenberg said there will be changes to the pep fest’s opening sequence.

“New to the pep fest, there will be a student band playing (rather than the school band),” Lindenberg said.

Senior Student Council member Vince Callahan said he thinks the activities will help promote unity among the student body.

“There are definitely some pretty cool things planned,” Callahan said. “I think the week will be a good opportunity for students from all different groups to bond.”

Lindenberg said the dance will take place at the same venue as last year.

“The dance is at Plymouth Creek Event Center, which is the same spot as last year,” Lindenberg said. “It is a nice space and a good price. That way we can do more with decorations and music.”

Callahan said he thinks the week will engage students through its liveliness.

“The events will get people energized,” Callahan said. “I think we’ll get a pretty good turnout and they’ll all have a great time.”
