The annual art showcase attracted a variety of students and art on Jan. 30.

With five students displaying their art and many more attending, junior Rachel Potter said she considered the event a success.

“Even though we didn’t have as many participants as we hoped for, it’s still a good event,” she said. “The main focus is just having students share their art.”

Club adviser Chris Nordmark said he wasn’t surprised by the level of creativity all of the students had.

“I’m happy with all the positive attitudes everyone had and the support of everyones art work,” Nordmark said. “I know there are more people out there who are just as talented, I would like for students to be able to share that with us.”

Students artists who wish to publish their work have the chance to do so in the schools 36 Arts magazine, which is run by the club.
