High school evacuated after electrical fire Jan. 15

St. Louis Park Fire Department extinguishes minor fire

According to an email from District communications director Sara Thompson Jan. 15, high school students were evacuated from the building at 10 a.m. Jan. 15 due to an electrical fire in the cafeteria kitchen.

“St. Louis Park Fire Department responded and gave the all clear for students and staff to resume class as usual,” according to the email.

Students were served an alternative lunch because of the minor fire, according to Thompson. The lunch included pizza ordered from the local Dominos and Papa Johns.
