Although people who have received their two initial COVID-19 vaccines are considered “fully vaccinated”, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends getting a booster shot to prolong immunity. As of now, people aged 16 or older are eligible for the Pfizer-BioNTech booster, and those aged 18 and older are eligible for the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson boosters.
