Hi my name is Jane Pupeza. I am in 10th grade and a photographer for Echo. I love photography; it is one of my favorite things, and I also really enjoy sailing during the summer and spend Thursdays racing. I do not do any school sports, but I am in symphonic band and have been since 5th grade.

Freshman Gwendolyn Rockler-Gladen and senior Sam Sietsema perform in the closing scene of Love/Sick. Jake, who is played by Siestsma and Emily, who is played by Rockler-Gladen, run into each other after many years.

Junior Coltrane Kanne and and Senior Sam Sietsema act in the scene named "What?!?" The students performed the play at Conference Jan. 25.

Senior Izzy Kanne points squirt gun at freshman West Anderson in the scene "Uh-Oh". The play contains eight scenes containing different couples.

Sophomores Kenzie Peschong and Olivia Brown argue in the scene "I?" The play was performed at the high school Jan 17-19.

Junior Lilly Strathman and senior Mitchell VonEschen argue in one of the final acts. The one-acts are the only performance of the year that competes against other schools.

Juniors Evelyn Chlebeck and Isaac Scott perform in the opening act of Love/Sick. The play is written by John Cariani. The theater students performed the one-act Jan. 1 at Holy Angels Academy. Park students did not move on to State, Washburn placed first and will be able to perform at State.

Sophomore Fiona Petrie, who plays Louise in the second scene, rushes up to sophomore Dayanara Mora-Zengel, who plays plays a telegram singer. Each scene had couples at their best and worst moments.

Senior Sam Sietsema reacts to his fellow actor during a performance of Love/Sick. For their competition performances, the students have to pack up their sets and move to other schools.

Freshman Wes Anderson and sophomore Caroline Butler practice a scene to prep for the one-act. The one-act will be performed at 7 p.m. Jan. 17-18 as well as Jan. 19 at 2 p.m. at the High School Auditorium.

Senior Makaila Winward takes part in a round of limbo at a pep fest along with the rest of the volleyball team. Each member of the team was introduced and cheered on by the school the day leading up to the game.

Letters of Love is a club where students make cards for children who are patients at the Children's Hospital in Minneapolis. The cards made by the students in Letters of Love are delivered to patients with the goal of putting a smile on their face and improving their day.
