  1. “Anger Management (2003)”: ★★★☆☆

We all love seeing Adam Sandler being mad in his movies, and this movie gives you all you want. Adam plays a mild-mannered guy who has an incident on a plane that causes him to go to anger management classes. The teacher (Jack Nicholson) is assigned to help Sandler fight his inner anger. Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson surprisingly work really well together. Who would have thought? I give this movie a big thumbs up.

  1. “The Wedding Singer (1998)”: ★★★☆☆

“The Wedding Singer” is an Adam Sandler classic. A rom-com with Adam Sandler playing a nice guy with a broken heart leaves so much room open for comedy and laughs. It’s worse for Sandler’s character because he has to sing at weddings. But Sandler does what he does best and gives you a good belly laugh.

  1. “Just Go With It (2011)”: ★★★☆☆

Another rom-com with Adam Sandler for some action-packed fun in Hawaii! Adam has to pretend to be Katherine’s (Jennifer Aniston) ex to win over his dream girl (Brooklyn Decker). Watching Adam get dragged into funny situations makes the movie so hilarious. Plus, it has Jennifer Aniston and Brooklyn Decker. Need I say more?

  1. “Uncut Gems (2019)”: ★★★★☆

If you were searching for an R-rated Adam Sandler movie, well you finally found it! “Uncut Gems” is one of the few dramas Adam stars in. The film is a dark thriller that will keep you stressed and scared for Sandler the whole movie. If you’re looking for an Adam Sandler movie that’s out of the ordinary, you came to the right place.

  1. “50 First Dates (2004)”: ★★★★☆

This is one of Adam Sandler’s best rom-coms that you’ll see. Adam plays a playboy vet trying to chase after a girl named Lucy (Drew Barrymore), but she has short-term memory loss and remembers only the day before. Good ol’ Adam has to pull out his best game every day to stay together. It is a truly touching movie.

  1. “Hustle (2022)”: ★★★★☆

One of Adam Sandler’s newer films has him doing another drama with Sandler playing an unlucky scout who finds a star basketball player abroad and brings him back without his team’s permission. It is an inspiring film that also has tons of basketball stars in it, and one of the main characters is Minnesota Timberwolf Anthony Edwards! This movie is definitely worth a watch.

  1. “The Longest Yard (2005)”: ★★★★★

This is a remake of the 1974 movie “The Longest Yard” and Adam Sandler took that movie and Sandler-fied it. This movie will keep you sucked in and laughing uncontrollably. The movie is about a star quarterback Paul Crewe (Adam Sandler) who ends up in jail. The warden (James Cromwell) recruits him to be the lead quarterback for a crew of inmates against a team of prison guards in an old-fashioned game of American football. This is one of my personal favorites.

  1. “The Waterboy (1998)”: ★★★★★

This Waterboy is just straight up iconic. It is one of the funniest movies you will watch. The humor, like most Adam Sandler movies, is for all ages and keeps you laughing forever. The movie is about Bobby Bouche (Adam Sandler) who has some anger issues. After Bobby beats up a bully, he joins the football team and leads his team to a championship. Once you’ve seen a grown man crying, knocking over anyone he sees like bowling pins, it redefines slapstick comedy.

  1. “Big Daddy (1999)”: ★★★★★

Adam Sandler being around children without any maturity in the world is probably one of the funniest things you will see. This movie shows that to perfection. He plays a guy who, when his girlfriend dumps him for an older man, adopts a five-year-old kid to impress her. She is not impressed, and now Adam is stuck with a five-year-old. You haven’t lived until you have seen Adam Sandler argue with a five-year-old. This movie is absolutely hilarious!

  1. “Happy Gilmore (1996)”: ★★★★★

This movie is one of the reasons his production company is called Happy Madison Productions. “Happy Gilmore” is iconic, a classic and funny as all get out. Adam Sandler plays a hockey player who is crappy at hockey, so moves to golf and is crazy good. And like all good Adam Sandler movies, he has some anger issues. The whole movie is a guarantee to keep you laughing and keep you engaged. I love this movie most because it really captures the essence of what an Adam Sandler film is. I also feel like this might be his best acting in any of his movies. This is the best Adam Sandler movie you’ll find.
