Hey! My name is Maddie Lund and I am one of the features editors for the Echo! I am a senior this year. You can almost always find me at Spyhouse Coffee Shop in Uptown or driving my old Buick Century around St. Louis Park! When I’m not doing that I’m in a hammock somewhere reading or eating ice cream! I am excited for this upcoming year and can’t wait to get to know new staffers :)

Sever's Fall Festival includes a Corn Maze shaped to celebrate the festival's 20th anniversary. There is a corn maze challenge available for visitors to participate in. This will be the 40th year Minnetonka Orchards is open.

A young boy explores the Corn Pit at Sever's Fall Festival. The festival also has an Extreme Corn Pit that includes a jungle gym and other obstacles.

Two children stand on top of a firetruck in front of the Sever's Corn Maze. Tractors and other farm equipment were available to climb on.

The Blue OX Jazz Babies set up to play for a crowd. They perform every hour and sell CDs at the front of the stage. On Saturdays from 12pm-4pm the band Pushing Chain performs and on Sunday from 12pm-4pm Michael Monroe plays.

Hay rides are offered to families for $1 on weekdays. On weekends, visitors can enjoy unlimited hay rides. The rides follow tracks through the corn maze.

Two children play in the Straw Bale Maze at Sever's Fall Festival. The maze is a smaller version of the full size corn maze intended for children. Besides the hay ride, the orchard also contains a hay mountain for children to play on.

Festival visitors slide down a giant slide. Each ride costs $1. Other kid friendly activities include a rock wall, playground, swing set and a wooden train. Kids also receive a free Apple Express Cart ride with paid admissions.

Visitors encounter a pumpkin patch at the entrance of Sever's Fall Festival. On week days from 10am-7pm admissions are free and $7.00 on the weekend. On weekends kids 12 and under with paid admissions receive a free face painting.
